The manifesto

The vibe code

A very serious code of conduct for very unserious apps. Four rules, zero exceptions, maximum vibes.

  • Prompt it

Describe the app, let the AI do the typing, take full credit. That's called delegation.

  • Ship it

It works on my machine and, somehow, on yours too. Deploy before anyone asks how.

  • Vibe check

Code looks weird? Vibes feel off? Regenerate until the vibes are immaculate.

  • Bugs are features

Every bug is a feature request nobody has asked for yet. Very forward thinking.

Vibe coding FAQ

What is vibe coding?

Vibe coding is building software by describing what you want to an AI in plain words and letting it write the code. You run it, check the vibe and prompt again until it works. Andrej Karpathy coined the term in February 2025.

What are vibe coded apps?

Apps made mostly by prompting an AI instead of typing every line by hand. The ones on this wall are small web apps that each do one job well: PasteSafe masks secrets before you paste, Overlap finds a meeting time across time zones, BridgeDays plans leave around public holidays, Etch makes QR codes that never expire, Bindery edits PDFs without uploading them, Steno turns a recording into a transcript, Plate converts and cleans photos, Docket turns hours into an invoice and laya-scraper builds a web scraper for a site and then runs it with no AI at all.

Are these vibe coding apps free?

Yes. Every featured app is free to use in your browser. Open the link and get going, no install and no credit card.

Do I need an account?

Nope. None of the featured apps has a signup. PasteSafe runs entirely in your browser, Overlap keeps your team in the link, BridgeDays keeps your plan in the link, Etch makes your QR code right on the page, Bindery works on your PDFs inside the tab, Steno runs Whisper on your own machine, Plate converts photos without uploading them, Docket keeps your clients and rates in this browser's local storage and laya-scraper runs on your own machine.

How do I get my vibe coded app featured?

Listings open soon. Each listing gets a card with your logo, app name, a one-line pitch, a live link and a GIF or screenshot preview, plus a chance at a featured spot. The Add your app section has the details.

Can I see vibe coding project examples?

Right here. PasteSafe, Overlap, BridgeDays, Etch, Bindery, Steno, Plate and Docket are live vibe coding projects you can open from the featured apps above, no download needed. laya-scraper is a command line tool, so that one you clone and run.
